Before you even think about installing this software, please make sure you have an original DVD for Medieval Total War Gold or else it won't run.

Before you install this software, make sure your system meets the minimum requirements:
- OS: Microsoft Windows 98/2000/ME/XP or newer (doesn't work on Windows 10)
- processor: Intel Pentium II 350 MHz
- RAM: 128 MB
- HDD: 2 GB free space
- graphics card: with DirectX 9.0c support and 16 MB VRAM
- sound card: with DirectX 9.0c support

Please make sure your pagefile is activated.

If everything is clear, you can start installing.
- Open the file explorer of your operating system.
- Launch "Launch.exe".
- Select the language of your choice.
- Click on "Install" and follow the steps of the setup process.
- If you don't have DirectX 9.0c installed, the setup will install it for you.
- Click "No" when it wants to install GameSpy.
- It's your choice if you want to have a desktop shortcut.
- Have fun if you have the original DVD.
